In Castellón we also have three modern golf courses, two of them with eighteen holes, football grounds, riding clubs, sports centres, tennis courts and public swimming-pools. Due to the mild climate these sports can be played during the year.

Paragliding, hang gliding or parachuting are good examples of air sports in our province.

Castellón has an aeroclub next to the sea, and it is the location of the most important national and international air events.

"Tiro y Arrastre" is and exhibition of strength. It is an original sport in which big horses pull loaded carts through the sand accompanied by men.
